Early bird visitor
Early morning - a small animal is running between the trees. After taking some pictures, this little one was looking straight at me. Maybe because of the excitement I moved too much and I produced some noise, or maybe the camera shutter sound was too loud.
Small animal but still: a good encounter and a great feeling in the Finnish wilderness.

Appâter des animaux sauvages sans raison à part pour les photographier plus facilement : je suis totalement contre ce type de pratique. C´est malheureusement largement répandu en Europe, et rarement précisé sous les images. Ici en Finlande, la plupart des images de prédateurs terrestres par les photographes de “nature” sont réalisés grâce à des appâts. Il n´y a pas grand-chose de naturel dans ces images, mais c´est mon point de vue ! Images de 2015, je n´y mets plus les pieds et je n´utilise pas cette pratique.<br />

I am totally against baiting wildlife, there is no good reason behind baiting. Unfortuntealy, it´s a widepread practice in Europe and rarely shared in the pictures captions. Here in Finland, most of the pictures of predators are made using baits. It´s called “wildlife photography” but I am not sure if this is really about wildlife...
